TRX Classes

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.
An average level of fitness is required to use the TRX effectively, as it develops core body strength, as well as joint and muscular stability, reducing the chance of injury with proper usage.

Some sports scientists have expressed concern that weaker individuals may not have the core stability or joint integrity to use the system safely and effectively.

HERE ARE THE 4 TRX PROGRAMMES THAT FITFAB OFFER with the minimum recommended level of fitness ratings in brackets.

TRX POWER (Beginner – Advance) > Power essentially means the ability to exert maximum muscular contraction instantly in an explosive burst of movements. The two components of power are strength and speed. With the use of the TRX, your FITFAB TRX trainer will regress certain standard TRX workouts so that new TRX participants are able to do the exercise with proper form. As the TRX exercise will be rep based mostly, it is suitable for a beginner level TRX participant.

TRX TABATA (Intermediate – Advance) > Tabata training is one of the most popular forms of high-intensity interval training (HIIT). It consists of eight rounds of ultra-high-intensity exercises in a specific 20-seconds-on, 10-seconds-off interval. Your FITFAB TRX trainer will navigate you thru various TRX exercises working your whole body in 6-8 cycles of Tabata.

TRX FLO (Intermediate – Advance) > Combines various TRX based movement with elements from various bodyweight-training disciplines to create a fun, challenging workout emphasizing multi-planar, continuous stream of movement.

TRX SLAM! (Beginner – Advance) > Build on the baseline standard you learned in the TRX Power. Foundational movement-based training techniques across other modalities such as, dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, heavy ropes, Rip Trainers, sandbags and more are applied in this version.
